Why should I buy your magazines and not the competitors?
Practical Publishing has been producing high-quality craft magazines since 2004, and we're a well-established company with a good reputation in the papercraft industry. The enthusiasm and knowledge of our staff shines through in our magazines.
I live outside the UK. Can I subscribe?
Absolutely. We have lots of subscribers overseas.
What payment methods do you accept?
- Direct Debit is available for UK subscription payments — the simple way to pay!
- Credit/debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro.
- PayPal. If you don't have a credit or debit card, or you'd prefer not to use it, we're happy to accept PayPal payments.
Is it safe to use my credit card on your website?
We take card security extremely seriously. We use secure checkout systems so your payment details will not be intercepted. Credit card orders from our online Shop are processed automatically by Sage Pay (formerly known as Protx), a well-respected payment processing company. Alternatively, you can pay by PayPal if you prefer. In either case, we do not see or store your card details. Subscription orders are secured by Verisign, another trusted online security expert.
When will I get my first magazine?
Your subscription will commence with the next available issue. In the case of a monthly magazine, that means it could be up to 4 weeks before you receive your first magazine. In the case of a bi monthly magazine (one that is published every two months) it could be 7 or 8 weeks. When we process your subscription, we'll contact you to let you know when you should expect your first issue.
When will I get my free gift?
If the subscription offer you take up includes a free gift, this should be with you within 28 days.
If I don't like the magazine, can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. If you wish to cancel, please give us a call on 01858 438899.
Will my subscription be renewed automatically?
If you subscribe by Direct Debit (currently only available to UK customers), you will be billed regularly until you cancel your subscription.
If you subscribe by credit/debit card or PayPal we won't keep renewing your subscription automatically — instead we will write to you when your subscription is about to run out and ask if you wish to renew.
